Neosho Recycle Center

The Neosho Recycle Center is a regional drop-off recycling center.   The facility serves over 7,000 individual recyclers as well as six other communities or organizations each year.

The recycle center accepts most traditional recyclables such as:
  • Aluminum / tin cans
  • Batteries
  • Plastic bottles - #1 PET (pop bottles)
  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Mixed paper
  • Office paper
  • Phone books
  • Hardback books
  • Cardboard
  • Pasteboard (cereal boxes)
  • Milk jugs and detergent bottles - #2 HDPE
  • Ink cartridges
  • Plastic grocery bags
  • Most scrap metals
  • styrofoam
  • light bulbs

The recycle center now accepts used cooking grease, both commercial and retail. Any container used to transport is fine, but cannot be returned.

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Closed


In the event of a Holiday, of which the observance falls on a Normal Day of Closure, the Recycle Center will be Closed the Prior or Following Business Day.   For example, a Holiday falling on a Monday, the Center would be closed the following day, Tuesday.
