Kids Fishing Derby
Celebrate the outdoors with the kids fishing derby from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the east bank of Hickory Creek and across from the ballfields at Morse Park. Free for kids of all ages.

Most people don't know it, but Hickory Creek has both Brown and Rainbow Trout all year round. On this particular day, the Neosho National Fish Hatchery helps young anglers along by releasing hundreds of more Rainbow Trout into the stream. Missouri fishing regulations will still apply. Kids can keep up to four fish, or release them back into the creek.  Trout stamp ($3.50 and available at area sporting good stores and departments) required for catch and keep, if under age 16. Fishing license and trout stamp required for catch and keep if over the age of 16.

Fishing poles and bait provided. Prizes and giveaways. No pre-registration required.

Please call Wes Franklin at 417-451-8050 or email with any questions.

Rubber Duck Race
Plans are in progress to include a Rubber Duck Race along Hickory Creek in Morse Park, and sponsored by the Neosho Lions Club, as part of Celebrate Neosho this year!

Rotary Car, Truck & Bike Show
Celebrate past times and cool rides from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the historic Neosho Square.

The Neosho Rotary Club has joined Celebrate Neosho this year in hosting its annual Car, Truck & Bike Show on the same day. Whether you're into classics, hot rods, or whatever in between, this show has something for everyone.

Skydiving Act
Celebrate the adventure of skydiving as the Skyranch Skydivers kick off the day's main event at 4 p.m. with a skydiving act at the Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport, 1400 Terry Johnson Drive.

Watch as the skydivers free fall from the sky, plummeting to the earth before they pull parachutes and unfurl a large American Flag.

Don't miss it!

Food and Crafts Vendors
Celebrate good food and cool crafts from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the day's main event at the Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport, 1400 Terry Johnson Drive.

Whether you want a bag of tasty kettle corn, cold ice cream, a straw hat to keep off the sun, or pretty much anything else, you can probably find it at Celebrate Neosho.  The 2013 event saw more than 60 food and crafts vendors and we're expecting even more this year.

If you're a vendor and would like to participate this year, our booth spaces are very reasonably priced. Details are on the application form. Download a vendor application here.

Magic By Moonlight Aerobatic Show
Celebrate the thrill of aerobatics with the Magic By Moonlight night air performance by Matt Younkin and his Beech 18 at 9:30 p.m. at the Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport.

From the Younkin Airshows website:
"Imagine the airshow circuit's largest, noisiest, and smokiest airplane lit up like a Christmas Tree and performing aerobatics at night! Imagination has become a reality. Keeping with Younkin Airshows tradition of pioneering the unusual, this new variation of an existing amazement will surely be the highlight of any night air show."

This an aerobatic act different from all the rest. Many people have never seen one like it. Be among the fortunate who have.

Younkin will also take to the sky earlier in the day as well for a sunlight performance. Time to be announced.

Celebrate America with the 2014 Celebrate Neosho Fireworks Show at approximately 9:45 p.m., immediately following the Magic by Moonlight aerobatic act.

AM Pyrotechnics, of Buffalo, MO, manufactures much of the fireworks used in the show, lighting up the sky with bursts made right here in the Show-Me State.

Help us celebrate America as we Celebrate Neosho on June 28, 2014!

See you there!
