Celebrate Neosho
Better than ever
We're gearing up for the best Celebrate Neosho yet on June 27, 2015!

We've already scheduled Matt Younkin's "Magic by Moonlight" air performance in his Twin Beech 18. Watch a promo video of Matt's show here

We are also bringing the Flash Fire Jet Truck, from Darnell Racing. Watch a video clip of Flash Fire's performance here.

For the last several years, Celebrate Neosho has been held on the last weekend in June. So why don't we hold it on the Fourth of July? It's because we want visitors from every area town and city to be able to attend Celebrate Neosho, and also be able to participate in their own hometown Independence Day festivities. We draw crowds from other area towns and they draw crowds from Neosho. It works out for everybody!

5K Run/Walk
Celebrate Neosho kicks off with a 5k Run/Walk in Morse Park. In its fourth year as part of Celebrate Neosho, the 5k has grown with every event. 2014 saw 116 participants.

This year the Celebrate Neosho 5k Run/Walk will start and end at the Lampo Community Center, 500 E Spring St. It is held on a mostly flat, largely shaded, paved course.

Be sure and take advantage of the early registration discount fee and get your application in before June 1. Also, applications received before June 1 guarantees a t-shirt. You can download an application here.

Be a Vendor!
Whether you sell crafts or food, Celebrate Neosho is a great opportunity for you. With our low booth rates and big crowd, it's worth coming just to get your name out there.

This vehicle will definitely put some hair on your chest. During a regular performance, Flash Fire drops close to 60 gallons of fuel in a 10-minute stint."

We're proud to have Flash Fire rock our world at Celebrate Neosho!

Daytime Aerobatic Show
Celebrate aviation! Stunt pilot Matt Younkin and his twin engine Beech 18 are no strangers to Celebrate Neosho. At 7 p.m. Younkin will race his Beech 18 against the Darnell's Flash Fire Jet Truck, and then continue with a daylight aerobatic act that is sure to please.

Magic by Moonlight Aerobatic Show
Celebrate the thrill of aerobatics with the Magic By Moonlight night air performance by Matt Younkin and his Beech 18 at 9:45 p.m. at the Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport.

From the Younkin Airshows website:
"Imagine the airshow circuit's largest, noisiest, and smokiest airplane lit up like a Christmas Tree and performing aerobatics at night! Imagination has become a reality. Keeping with Younkin Airshows tradition of pioneering the unusual, this new variation of an existing amazement will surely be the highlight of any night air show."

This an aerobatic act different from all the rest. Many people have never seen one like it. Be among the fortunate who have.

Younkin will also take to the sky during the day for a sunlight performance.

Back at Celebrate Neosho for a third time, Matt Younkin always gives reason to celebrate!

Celebrate America with the 2015 Celebrate Neosho Fireworks Show at approximately 10 p.m., immediately following the Magic by Moonlight aerobatic act.

AM Pyrotechnics, of Buffalo, MO, manufactures much of the fireworks used in the show, lighting up the sky with bursts made right here in the Show-Me State.

Help us celebrate America as we Celebrate Neosho on June 27, 2015!

See you there!
